Kim Bennett is a physical therapist and UW lecturer with the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.

Patient Care Philosophy

The role of physical therapy is to enable the patient to maximize independence and function. Where chronic conditions are present, this role should extend to making the patient as self-reliant as possible in managing their condition including education about the condition and self-treatment techniques.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Bennett's clinical interests include orthopedic manual physical therapy with an interest in chronic pain and rheumatology

Research Interests

Dr. Bennett's research interests include the role of exercise in pain management in the chronically painful patient.
